The laser runs for 8 seconds per eye. Both eyes together take 15 minutes in the procedure room. You'll be at the clinic for about 2 hours total including preparation, the procedure, and a brief rest period. Plan to take the rest of that day off - most people are watching TV comfortably by evening with noticeably clearer vision already.
Most adults aged 18–55 who wear glasses or contacts for short-sightedness or astigmatism are suitable candidates. The honest answer is: we don't know until we examine your eyes. No hidden costs. 40,000 EGP covers the full SMILE Pro procedure on both eyes, all pre-surgery assessments, all follow-up appointments for 12 months, and prescribed eye drops for recovery.
